| Leon Kubasski was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 1969. Following family strong traditions in Beaux Arts, he diligently studied drawing and painting, sculpting and decorative arts: from basics of Art School - to extended master class programme in portraiture & genre painting... He is a free-lance artist since 1997. For the most part he works in his studio in Denver, Colorado. He occasionally runs creative workshops [see list], and from time to time he reads selected lectures on theory and aesthetics of visual arts and culturology in art schools, galleries and art centres of the USA and Poland. [see list] • Most of his works are in private collections of USA, England, Holland, Poland, Lithuania, France, Russia, China and Australia. |
