	An Iris / Giclée print is the highest quality print available today. The word Giclée is a French word meaning 'to squirt', which is what an inkjet printer does. The process is digital printmaking with an Iris printer creates prints that cannot be produced by other printing techniques. There is no visible dot screen pattern and the resulting image has all of the subtle tonalities of the original art palette. The Giclée printer squirts approximately 4 million microscopic droplets of ink per second onto canvas, 100% cotton fiber paper or other media. The four Giclée printing colors, cyan, magenta, yellow and black, can produce up to 16 million colors. The Giclée printing process is ideal for limited edition prints. This produces exceptional museum quality prints.
