an indepedent short story. Combination of fairy-tale, fantasy & parable. Unlike "The Primary Place", where new generation was shown as an ignorant destroyer of ancient knowledge and values (which, in fact, seems to be rather verisimilar in the reality), in this story is shown a new offspring, a child of new race, a bringer of completely NEW scope and knowledge; but as such she is far from being welcome. |
